Welcome to the beginning of your career as a PADI Instructor!
By participating in a PADI IDC program, you not only start your instructor training but may also lay the foundation for a career as a PADI Instructor with a workplace somewhere around the globe. During your IDC and afterwards I will accompany and support you with all my experience as an instructor and dive center operator. So, you are not only well prepared for your instructor exam (PADI IE), but above all for your future activity as a diving instructor. I don't just want you to persevere. But above all, that you become a good PADI Instructor who enjoys his work and loves his students.

About me:
I took my first breath under water in 1990 and was already fascinated by the underwater world during my first dives.
I have been a PADI professional since 1995. My first year as a Padi Instructor I worked part-time for the local dive center in Stuttgart.
In 1996 I emigrated to Greece and have been running my own Padi 5 Star IDC Center ever since.
To this day, I continue to train all courses and now have over 15.000 logged dives.
I am happy to pass on my accumulated experience to my students, teaching the next generation of divers, while maintaining safety and fun!
Tips for aspiring candidates:
1. If you dream of a career that is unique, challenging, fun and allows you to work in exotic locations, why not look to your favorite hobby – scuba diving! Not only does opportunity abound for those who become professional dive instructors, but they have the satisfaction of transforming lives by teaching diving to others, too.
A great place to start transforming your dream into reality is the PADI Instructor Development Course. This in-depth course is specifically designed to build your abilities as a professional dive educator.
Just imagine the ocean being your office and exchanging your desktop computer for your scuba equipment. Your instructor education doesn’t have to stop there, either. The course is tough but extremely rewarding and all your hard work will pay off once you’re able to teach PADI programs around the world. Plus, you’ll build lasting bonds with your fellow classmates while boosting your confidence and refining your skills.
2. The skills, learned in the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), are also incredibly helpful in the real world. Instructor candidates tell us frequently how PADI instructor training improved their ability to communicate ideas, bolstered their confidence in public speaking, and taught them how to give constructive criticism to others.
If you’re dissatisfied with your current job, becoming a PADI Instructor will level-up key job skills and open new doors. PADI Dive Instructors are the most sought after scuba professionals in the world.
3. These are just a few of the advantages of becoming a PADI Instructor:
to strengthen one's personal skills and self-confidence
to teach others about diving
be a leader and role model for others
travel the world
Be an advocate for marine conservation.
Support your local diving community
