What Diving You Will Do On Your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to help you further develop your scuba diving skills and gain more experience in a variety of diving situations. The course typically includes five adventure dives, each focused on a specific area of diving. Here's what you can expect to learn during the PADI Advanced Open Water course:

  1. Deep dive: You'll learn how to plan and execute dives to depths of up to 30 meters/100 feet, including how to manage the risks associated with deeper dives.
  2. Navigation dive: You'll learn how to use a compass and natural navigation techniques to navigate underwater, including how to estimate distance and calculate your position.
  3. Night dive: You'll learn how to plan and execute dives at night, including how to use specialized equipment and techniques to communicate with your dive buddy and navigate in low-light conditions.
  4. Peak Performance Buoyancy dive: You'll learn how to fine-tune your buoyancy control and body positioning, which can help conserve air, improve your dive experience, and reduce your impact on the underwater environment.
  5. Your choice of adventure dives: Depending on your interests and the available options, you can choose from a range of adventure dives such as wreck diving, drift diving, fish identification, underwater photography, and more.

During the course, you'll complete knowledge reviews and assessments for each adventure dive, as well as practical training and skills development in a controlled environment. The course typically takes 2-3 days to complete and is designed to build on the knowledge and skills you gained during your PADI Open Water Diver course. Upon completion of the course, you'll be certified to dive to depths of up to 30 meters/100 feet and have a greater understanding and appreciation for the underwater world.
