If you want to pamper your loved ones, it's a great idea to tap into their passion for the underwater world. Cutting to the chase, here are some suggestions based on four typical diver profiles to help you find the perfect gift for the diver in your life.
You might think that finding the perfect gift for a diver at the start of their diving adventure is easy because they still have to buy everything. However, we recommend that you think twice before buying anything that needs to fit a body part size, such as masks and wetsuits. Also, I always recommend that beginners try a few different products to see which they like best; this applies mostly to BCDs and fins.
If you're looking for something on a budget, a waterproof bag to carry valuables on a boat trip makes a very useful gift and is sure to find that favourite colour.
If you want to impress, a dive computer is the ultimate gift. You don't have to buy the highest quality advanced diver model; you can find entry-level dive computers at reasonable prices. Look for models like Suunto Zoop or Aqua Lung i100.
Once we the underwater skills are mastered, it is natural to want to see the underwater treasures all over the world. There are so many options that it can be difficult to choose a destination. Here, you can help you find the perfect destination by selecting dive books with beautiful pictures. For example, the book 100 Dives of a Lifetime by National Geographic is a good choice.
Scuba globetrotters who like to be spoiled can't go wrong with a quality scuba diving travel bag. We recommend looking for a model that weighs under 4kg, weighs between 90 and 120 liters, has large solid wheels, an ergonomic telescoping handle, plenty of handles on the sides, and internal pockets for clothes and small accessories. Check out the Aqualung Explorer Wheeled Bag or the Osprey Transporter Wheeled Tote.
If scuba diving is an addiction, underwater photography can take it to another level with a big investment and plenty of accessories. So if you're looking for an easy gift, put together a set of mesh pouches for chargers or batteries, and add a spare SD card or two or an international plug converter. I can assure you, they will love the attention.
If you have more money to spend, a small video flashlight would be a special gift. Whether looking for creatures under rocks, or as a focusing light when taking pictures, it is the best companion for underwater photographers. Look for models like the Big Blue Black Molly or the I-Dive Fish Lite.
The eco-conscious diver
As more and more divers commit to sustainable diving practices and reduce their single-use plastic footprint, a stainless steel refillable water bottle or a pair of reusable straws might be a great gift idea.
You'll no doubt love a coral-friendly sunscreen, but since it's hard to find one without plastic packaging these days, you might also consider a sunscreen with UV protection, such as Fourth Element, which is made from recycled ocean plastic. Hydroskin . PADI Gear also has a selection of Rash Guards made from recycled nylon from discarded fishing nets.
These gifts are great for divers, but don’t forget you can always help with your loved ones education, for all the options with have for the summer check out our courses here.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I had great communication with Jill while arranging my dives. Paul our door master was helpful and paitent with me as I had not dived in a long while and his instructions were very clear and I felt safe at all times. Throughly enjoyed my time diving.
